ASCA Theory Seminar: Symbols, archetypes, universal primordial images and ideas
Symbols, archetypes, universal primordial images and ideas...terms that are often problematic in academia and science and often dismissed as too esoteric to define.
In the next session of the theory seminar we will explore Carl Jung's work on the collective unconscious reading two of his essays and another regarding the collective unconscious and film/dreams by John Michaels and another addressing the transcendental including his relationship to Thoreau (Neil B. Yetwin). We will also watch some film clips and discuss the meaning of repeated images and motifs and the shared meaning they create within the inherited structure of the brain we all share. Alexandra Nakelski will introduce the session.
