๐—ญ๐—ผ๐—ฒฬ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฒ ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐——๐—˜๐—ก๐—š is an art writer, researcher, poet, curator, and translator. She obtained her PhD degree from the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis (ACSA), University of Amsterdam. Being part of the European Research Council (ERC) funded research project, her PhD project focused on non-oppositional criticality of socially engaged art in contemporary China.

๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ผ ๐—™๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—น๐˜† is an alternative family initiated by Miaozi and her friends in Guangzhou. In the spring of 2019, Miaozi found herself accidentally pregnant, and soon her boyfriend left her. Miaoziโ€™s mother demanded her to abort the baby, and her father demanded her to marry her ex-boyfriend before the babyโ€™s birth. She struggled against both demands. Sampson Wong is an artist, independent curator, academic and urbanist based in Hong Kong. He is currently Lecturer of General Education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong teaching. He engages in art-making, curatorial practice, teaching, research and writing, and sees them as intellectual means exploring issues about urbanism, space, power and freedom. His projects focus on emerging โ€˜publicnessโ€™ and critical creativity.

๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜ ๐—ฉ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ฒ is an artist, author and teacher. He studied contemporary art in Belgium and the Netherlands. He is an alumni of the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. His art practice spans a wide range of media ranging from drawings, photographs, videos and installations.

๐——๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—พ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—ผ ๐— ๐˜‚๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—น-๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ฑ ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜๐˜† (๐——๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฆ), initiated in 2015, is located in a historical working-class neighbourhood with a vibrant migrant population in Shanghai. It is a self-organised collective, sharing a shanty town space for living, learning, proposing, reflecting, organising and creatively working together. By repositioning the labor of art and knowledge, it pursues the potential for alternative relational imaginations of the society through the practice of mutual-aid.

๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—๐—ผ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ง๐—ผ๐—ถ (๐—ฆ๐—๐—ง) is a platform-dependent and synergic project initiated in 2016, officially founded in 2017. It stems from the needs of artists for mutual perception/practice space, and this requirement has been tested in the โ€œBanyan Travel Agencyโ€ project.

Taiwanese artist Li-Ren Chang creates video installations, conceptual projects, and animations. In his works, he aims to construct a virtual world situated between reality and imagination by means of narration. His ongoing animation project Battle City (2011-) currently consists of two episodesโ€”Episode 1: The Glory of Taiwan and Episode 2: Economic Miracle. The artist spent several years building solitarily a small-scale city constructed on the basis of his impressions of cities and his memories as a child. Through compelling storytelling techniques, Battle City playfully addresses the geopolitical histories and contemporary realities of Taiwan.
