More than 150 years after the publication of Capital, Karl Marx's critique of capitalist political economy still resonates powerfully today. In this reading group, we will read and discuss the second volume of Capital. Capital can be a demanding text, but we will tackle it together. To get started, the first three sessions will be devoted to revisiting key concepts from the first volume. After that, we will work our way through Volume 2.

The group will meet every two weeks on Tuesdays, from 4:00–6:00 p.m., starting January 13, 2026. Meetings are hybrid: in-person participation is preferred, but you’re welcome to join online if that works better for you.
