In this reading group, we discuss texts from philosophy of technology, technology studies, informatics, and media studies, and analyse them from an ethical and political perspective. We read texts in moral and political philosophy (for instance, on democracy, identity etc) and connect them with contemporary developments in the (application of) technologies. We are interested in the interaction between different research fields and disciplines and how (and what) we can learn from these multiple interactions.

We are open to all researchers in the field; we suggest to meet once every 6 weeks and we have started a mailing list with relevant literature.
