We are delighted to invite you to the Environment & Society network’s Key Concepts series this academic year. The sessions in this series explore how scholars across different disciplines, but who broadly view themselves as working within the Environmental Humanities, understand and engage with several widely-deployed concepts. The series will run over the next few academic years; this academic year’s sessions focus on the concepts of “Environment,” “Sustainability,” and “Change”. The aim of is to foster cross-disciplinary dialogue and help us understand how colleagues across disciplines engage with these concepts. The contributions and discussions will eventually feed into an E&S publication, to be used in teaching across the environmental humanities.

• Friday, 4 December, 12:00-13:00 @ Bushuis E1.02: "Sustainability Pt. 1", with Jeff Diamanti and Alice Fleerackers 
• Friday, 5 February, 12:00-13:00 @ Bushuis D3.04: "Sustainability Pt. 2", with Annet Dekker and Mikki Stelder.
