Bicycle parking

If you are visiting the University Library and arrive by bike, we ask you to park your bicycle in the underground bicycle parking facility of the University Library (to the left of the main entrance). This facility is supervised, easy to access and parking is quick and convenient. You can enter the bicycle parking area using your UvA student or staff card. This way, your bicycle is kept safe during your visit, and together we help reduce disruption for local residents.

Building accessibility

To the right of the revolving door at the main entrance, there is a sliding door. Visitors using a wheelchair can enter the building via this door.

Parking for wheelchair users

Within the municipality of Amsterdam, visitors with disabilities who hold a European disabled parking permit can apply for an Amsterdam parking permit for disabled visitors. This allows you to park free of charge in all areas where paid parking applies.
